Dentist near Hallandale Beach, FL

Hallandale Beach is a coastal Broward County city with Hollywood to its north and Aventura to its south, across the Miami-Dade line. Haratz Dental is an independent practice in Aventura, so a single office can handle your checkups, cosmetic work, implants and surgery.

Finding a dentist near Hallandale Beach comes down to who explains things well. Expect the reasons behind each recommendation, a written plan, and a price for every stage before you say yes. Nothing gets decided in the dark, and questions are welcome at any point.

People near Hallandale Beach can reach our Aventura practice for everything on our list of services, from routine cleanings to rebuilding a whole bite. Dr. Adela Haratz founded the office and has practiced for more than forty years, beginning in Venezuela. Dr. Michael Maya covers general and cosmetic dentistry. Dr. Francisco Oliver, a periodontist, treats surgical cases. Visits can be conducted in English, Spanish or Hebrew, and digital scanning and laser dentistry are part of the toolkit.

What We Review

What a Second Opinion Looks Like Here

A second opinion only helps if the person giving it has nothing riding on the first plan. At Haratz Dental your visit is treated as a new case, and we go through the steps below no matter what another office has already written down.

  • Hands-on exam: we check your teeth, gums and bite ourselves rather than relying on prior notes
  • Records first: bring any X-rays or scans you already have, and we add new images only when something is unclear
  • Where plans differ: if we see a case another way, we explain what we noticed and why
  • Simpler options: a less invasive or lower-cost route to the same result gets mentioned too
  • A clear answer: you leave with a specific recommendation and the reasoning behind it

The second opinion is complimentary, and visiting does not obligate you to have treatment with us.

One Practice for Every Stage
Near Hallandale Beach

A first appointment here is mostly conversation. We ask what you hope to change, what is bothering you and what makes dental visits uneasy for you, and only then do we take records. Those can include iTero digital impressions, panoramic images and 3D scans, depending on the question being asked. Before you leave, you are handed a written plan with an estimate attached to every stage. Children from seven years old and adults are both welcome.

Routine exams and cleanings are where small problems get caught early. With an intraoral camera you see your own tooth on a screen while we describe it. Because a periodontist works here, your gums are examined as carefully as your teeth. Keeping up with visits usually costs less than fixing something that was ignored for years.

"It is common for patients to experience varying levels of anxiety before dental implant surgery."

Smile Design, Restorations
and Surgery Together

Appearance changes begin with the whole picture, and cosmetic dentistry here weighs tooth shape, shade, gum line and how you bite. Dr. Haratz focuses her work on veneers, bonding, whitening and complete smile design. When a tooth is missing or breaking down, a crown, a bridge or one of our dental implants brings back both function and looks. You set the pace, and a second opinion on any proposal is yours for the asking.

On his surgical Fridays Dr. Oliver performs extractions, removes wisdom teeth, places bone grafts and does sinus lifts, with sedation offered if you would like it. Fees for oral surgery are quoted in full before treatment starts, since this care is self-pay. A throbbing tooth or a fracture does not keep to a calendar, so call the office about urgent dental care.

"Each patient may have a different experience based on several factors. These include the number of teeth we are replacing, the type of implant, and the patient's overall oral health."

What Sets This Office
Apart From the Rest

Dentists are easy to find around Hallandale Beach, so here are the practical differences you can expect at Haratz Dental:

  • Routine care: fillings, cleanings, exams and gum treatment for children seven and older and for adults
  • Cosmetic work: veneers, whitening, bonding and complete smile design
  • Tooth replacement: individual implants, All-on-4 and any bone grafting needed beforehand
  • Clear pricing: most PPO plans for everyday and restorative care, CareCredit and Cherry for larger treatment, and a membership plan if you have no insurance
  • Three languages: English, Spanish and Hebrew spoken at the office

Holding a treatment plan from somewhere else that you are unsure about? Bring it by. The second look is free, the decision remains yours, and we explain things plainly at each step.

"The implant is essentially in the same place the root of the natural tooth was."

Run by Its Founder
Not by a Corporate Group

Dr. Adela Haratz founded and owns the practice. She began her career in Venezuela, graduated from dental school in 1981, and built the office around a belief she holds to: trust comes from knowledge. In day-to-day terms, that means images are shown before treatment is discussed and the plan goes on paper. No one here is pushing work you do not need.

With three doctors in the same building, cases that need both cosmetic and surgical skill stay in one place. Dr. Oliver, a periodontist, takes implants and grafting, and the other two doctors manage general and cosmetic care. Comfort gets attention as well, with noise-canceling headphones and Netflix in each treatment room.

"Fortunately, there are certain post-surgery home care techniques the patient can implement to make the recovery process as effortless as possible."

Paying for Care
Insurance, Plans and Financing

Most PPO plans are accepted for general and restorative visits, and it helps to go over your dental insurance with the front desk before you book. Implant placement and oral surgery fall outside insurance billing; those are self-pay, and the full fee is quoted ahead of time. Without coverage, you can enroll in our membership plan, a plan the practice runs itself, separate from insurance. Larger treatment can be financed with CareCredit or Cherry. Medicaid and other state programs are not an option here.
