About Haratz Dental in Aventura, FL

An independently owned practice led by Dr. Adela Haratz, who has practiced dentistry for more than 40 years. Cosmetic, restorative, and surgical care in one office, in English, Spanish, and Hebrew.

Choosing a dental practice often means sorting through conflicting advice, quick fixes that fail within a year, and treatment plans no one fully explained to you. The stakes rise when the work ahead is complex, because implants, veneers, and full-arch restorations are built to last decades rather than months.

Haratz Dental is an independently owned practice in Aventura, Florida, led by founder Dr. Adela Haratz. We care for adults and children age seven and older, and our dental services range from routine cleanings and exams to cosmetic and surgical treatment. Dr. Haratz built this practice around a phrase she repeats to patients, which is that trust comes from knowledge.

Four Decades in Dentistry
and More Than a Decade in Aventura

Dr. Haratz finished dental school in 1981 and has practiced dentistry for more than 40 years. She began her career in Venezuela, and a number of the patients she treated there later moved to South Florida and remain her patients today. She has owned and led this Aventura office for more than a decade, so her years in the profession and the age of the business are separate figures rather than one claim.

That span of time shapes how we plan treatment. Researchers at the National Center for Health Statistics found 12.9 percent of adults aged 65 and over had complete tooth loss between 2015 and 2018, and cases at that level are rarely solved in a single appointment. We sequence care across diagnosis, stabilization, and restoration instead of promising a fast result.

Care We Provide
Under One Roof

We keep general, cosmetic, and surgical care in the same office so a complex plan does not get split across three practices. The five areas below cover most of what patients come to us for, and each one links to a fuller explanation.

01

Cosmetic Dentistry

Veneers, smile design, teeth whitening, bonding, and gum contouring. Dr. Haratz plans cosmetic treatment around your facial proportions and your bite rather than a single reference photo, and she reviews how a tooth functions before anything is prepared.

04

Restorative and General Care

Cleanings, exams, fillings, crowns, bridges, root canal therapy, and dentures. Our restorative dentistry keeps everyday visits in the same office as the complex work, so your records and treatment history stay in one place.

02

Dental Implants

Single implants, full-arch treatment, bone grafting, and implant restoration. Dental implant surgery runs across diagnosis, placement, and restoration, and we tell you at the consultation how many visits your case is likely to need.

05

Complimentary Second Opinions

If another office has recommended significant treatment, a complimentary second opinion gives you a review of the records and the reasoning behind the plan. There is no obligation to move your care to us afterward.

03

Oral Surgery

Wisdom tooth removal, extractions, sinus lifts, and pre-prosthetic surgery. Oral surgery is scheduled on select Fridays with Dr. Oliver, while your general dentist stays involved in the restorative side of the plan.

Care in English,
Spanish, and Hebrew

Our doctors and staff speak English, Spanish, and Hebrew, so you can discuss a diagnosis in the language you think in rather than the one you translate into. That matters most in the appointments where the details are hard, such as reviewing a surgical plan or weighing the cost of replacing several teeth. Nothing important gets lost while a family member tries to interpret for you.

We also keep the same dentist with you across a course of treatment wherever scheduling allows. Dr. Haratz has cared for some patients across decades and across two countries, and that continuity is the point rather than a bonus.

“A truly successful cosmetic treatment does more than look good in photos.”

In Her Words

“
Trust is knowledge. Knowledge from the doctor who treats you, and that makes the trust.
Dr. Adela Haratz, DDS, Founder

Dr. Haratz has said the same thing for four decades. Patients arrive having read a great deal online and heard very little explained to them, and the work of the first visit is closing that gap. She would rather a patient understand why a tooth needs treatment than agree quickly to a plan they cannot repeat back. The result she aims for is not a single procedure but a family who keeps coming back for years.

What to Expect
at Your First Visit

Your first appointment starts with a conversation before any treatment is proposed. We ask what brought you in, what has been done before, and what you want to avoid. Then we take the records needed to answer those questions properly.

Diagnostics include digital scanning, panoramic imaging, and intraoral photos, which let us show you what we are seeing rather than describe it. You leave with a written plan and an estimate covering each stage of care.

If a case involves both surgery and restoration, we map the order of the visits at this stage so you know who is doing what and roughly when. Complex plans are easier to agree to when the sequence is visible from the start.

"Your initial visit starts with an honest conversation."

How We Handle
Insurance and Payment

What you pay depends on the type of treatment. We accept most PPO plans for general and restorative care, and you can review the details on our dental insurance page. Oral surgery and implant placement are self-pay, quoted in full before treatment starts. Our in-house membership plan covers preventive visits for patients without coverage, and it is not insurance. CareCredit and Cherry are available for monthly payments. We do not accept Medicaid or state dental plans.

Schedule a Visit
With Haratz Dental

Haratz Dental has served Aventura under the same owner for more than a decade, and Dr. Haratz has practiced dentistry for more than 40 years. We handle cosmetic treatment, restorative work, dental implants, and oral surgery in one office, which means you are not passed between practices partway through a treatment plan.

If another dentist has recommended significant work and you want a clear explanation before anything begins, we would rather spend that time up front. Our team will review your records, walk you through each option, and tell you plainly what it may accomplish and what it will not. You can request an appointment through our contact form.
