If you have them available, bring a printed or digital copy of the recommended treatment plan, X-rays or imaging from your previous appointment, a list of the specific procedures suggested along with the associated costs, and any questions you have collected since your original visit. You do not need everything perfectly organized. Bring what you have, and we will work from there.

Let us know if you are currently taking medications or have medical conditions that may affect dental treatment. This is especially relevant if the proposed work involves dental implant surgery or other surgical procedures, since certain conditions affect candidacy and recovery planning. You are not required to share the name of your original provider, and our evaluation will be completely independent.

Is the second opinion really complimentary?

Yes. The appointment is complimentary for new patients. There is no fee for the clinical exam, the review of your existing records and imaging, or the consultation with one of our dentists. If additional X-rays are needed, we will discuss that with you before proceeding.

Do I need to bring my records?

It helps to bring whatever you have, including X-rays, a printed treatment plan, and any cost estimates from the original provider. If you cannot access your records in time, we can begin our own evaluation from scratch at no added cost.

Will you contact my original dentist?

No. Our evaluation is completely independent. We do not contact the original provider unless you specifically ask us to.

Can I get a second opinion on cosmetic work?

Yes. We review any treatment plan, including veneers, Invisalign, teeth whitening, gum contouring, and smile makeovers. We will give you an honest assessment of whether the recommended approach is appropriate for your goals and your oral health.
