Dr. Michael Maya is a general and cosmetic dentist at Haratz Dental in Aventura, FL. A South Florida native, Dr. Maya grew up in North Miami Beach and is dedicated to providing excellent dental care to his local community.

Education & Training

Dr. Maya earned his Doctorate from Boston University’s Goldman School of Dental Medicine, one of the country’s leading dental programs. During his studies, he completed a 10-week externship at the Miami VA Medical Center, gaining hands-on experience with a diverse patient population. After graduating, Dr. Maya relocated to New York City for postdoctoral training and completed his general practice residency at Wyckoff Heights Medical Center in Brooklyn. He then returned to Miami, where he spent two years focused on cosmetic and general dentistry before moving back to Manhattan. In New York, he treated a wide range of patients in a fast-paced clinical environment near Grand Central Station.

Dr. Maya brings the breadth of his clinical training — spanning VA hospital care, urban emergency settings, and private practice — to every patient interaction at Haratz Dental.
