How All-on-4
Works
The All-on-4 technique uses four dental implants to support a complete arch of prosthetic teeth. Two implants are placed vertically in the front of your jaw, where bone tends to be denser, while two are angled at the back to maximize contact with existing bone. This strategic positioning distributes chewing forces evenly and often removes the need for bone grafting procedures.
During your initial consultation, we use advanced imaging technology to map your jaw structure and determine the optimal implant placement. The actual surgery should take a few hours, depending on whether you're treating one or both arches. We may place a temporary prosthesis immediately after surgery so you can leave our office with a functional smile while your implants integrate with your bone over the next several months.
